The ask
Develop a brand campaign for Solitude in 2019 that highlights its welcoming nature and differentiates it in the competitive Salt Lake ski market.
What we did
We launched a campaign emphasizing that Solitude is the ski resort for everyone, promoting its accessibility and unpretentious vibe. We created tailored creative for two personas at Solitude — the Powderhounds who hit the slopes early and the Weekend Warriors who ski with their family. The creative had a unified visual identity using a nostalgic mixed media style with photography, ski sticker-inspired illustrations, hand lettering, and typography. The campaign was developed across various mediums, including video, digital, social, OOH, and print ads.
The ask
Following our successful initial campaign in 2019, our next goal was to enhance Solitude's brand identity, ensuring it stands out as the most welcoming ski resort in Salt Lake in 2021
What we did
The "Just Get Here" Campaign leveraged the appeal of spontaneous and affordable skiing experiences, inviting skiers to enjoy Solitude's laid-back atmosphere without the need for perfect conditions or gear. We contrasted Solitude's inclusivity against the exclusivity of competitors through user-generated content and engaging copy, appealing to a broad audience and reinforcing the resort's unique, inclusive vibe.
