Adidas Basketball - Shoe Drop
The ask
Adidas Basketball needed an agile partner who could quickly turn their standard static assets into engaging social content that would stop thumbs and sell shoes.
What we did
We focused on crafting short video content with a handmade feel to showcase the shoes' vibrant character. Transforming static assets into engaging, thumb-stopping content. We injected as much personality into the content as the shoes themselves boasted. This approach not only propelled web traffic from Instagram but also led to the sell-out of three colorways of the Harden Vol. 5 on their launch days. Beyond that, the launches for the Dame 7 and D.O.N. Issue #2 were reshared by Damian Lillard and Donovan Mitchell on their personal social channels.
In my role as the creative lead/art director, I collaborated with videographers, animators and designers to bring this vision to life, ensuring the content struck the perfect balance between flair and authenticity.
